Place card maker
Paste your guest list, one name per line, and get folding tent cards laid out several to a sheet, with crop marks, cutting lines and a fold line on every card.

How the cards are laid out
Every line of your list becomes one card. Each card prints flat at twice its folded height: the lower half is the front, and the upper half is printed upside down, so after folding it reads the right way up for the guest sitting opposite. Untick Name on both sides to leave the back plain. Text after a bar (|) or a tab becomes a smaller second line for a table number, a meal choice or a title, and long names shrink to fit on one line.
The three sizes fit 9, 6 or 4 cards on a US Letter or A4 sheet, centred with at least a quarter inch of margin so nothing lands in the strip your printer cannot reach.
Cutting and folding
- Print at 100% scale on card stock, with background graphics on.
- Cut along the dashed lines. The crop marks in the margin line up with every edge, which helps with a paper trimmer.
- Score along the dotted fold line with a ruler and a blunt edge, such as the back of a butter knife, then fold the printed side outwards.
Questions
How many guests can I add?
Up to 400 names. The line under the preview tells you how many sheets the list needs, and every sheet prints in one go.
Will these line up with pre-cut place card sheets from a shop?
Probably not: branded perforated sheets each use their own positions. Print on plain card stock and cut along the lines instead.
Is my guest list saved anywhere?
Only in your own browser's local storage, so it is still there next time. Nothing is uploaded. Clear the list to remove it.
