About Paper Lanternly
Printable stationery for the gatherings that matter, designed in a few minutes and printed on your own printer.
What it is
Paper Lanternly has five free makers: an invitation maker, a place card maker, a banner letter printer for bunting, table number cards and an event countdown poster. The designs are original, drawn around paper lanterns, plum blossom, seigaiha waves and gold leaf, and every one works in six colour sets.
How it works
Everything happens in your browser. The preview on each page is built from the same markup that goes to the printer, at real size in points, so the cards you see are the cards you get. Printing and saving as PDF both go through your browser's own print dialog; the site does not make files on a server, and nothing you type or add is uploaded.
Fonts and designs
The lettering uses two open-licence typefaces, Kaisei Decol and Zen Kaku Gothic New, served from this site. The lanterns, blossoms and patterns are drawn as vector shapes, so they print crisply at any size. There are no accounts, no watermarks and no paid upgrades.
