# Printable invitation maker

Type your event details, choose a design and colours, then print. The preview is the printout itself: the same cards at true size, laid out on the sheet with crop marks.

## How to make your invitations

1. **Write the wording.** Only the event line is needed; empty lines disappear from the card, and line breaks in the address and note are kept.
2. **Pick a design and colours.** Every template works with every colour set and both typefaces, and long text shrinks a little to fit.
3. **Add a photo if you like.** Drop one on the photo box or choose a file, then pick a wide banner or a round portrait.
4. **Choose the paper and card size.** A 5 × 7 in card prints two to a sheet with crop marks; half and quarter sheets use the whole page and are cut along the dashed lines.

## Printing, and saving as PDF

Press **Print or save as PDF**. In the print dialog, pick the same paper as here, keep the scale at 100% (or "Actual size") and switch on background graphics so the colours print. For a PDF, choose "Save as PDF" or "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer: the PDF comes from your browser's own print dialog, so its text stays sharp at any size. Print a test sheet on plain paper first, then use card stock your printer can feed.

## Your photo and wording stay with you

The photo is displayed straight from your device and is never uploaded or stored; add it again after a reload. The wording and settings are kept in this browser's local storage so you can come back to them, and *Clear the wording* removes them.

## More printables for the party

Each maker has its own page. They all print on US Letter or A4 and keep working offline once the page has loaded.

### Sign-ups without the follow-up emails

Party-supply discount codes, venue brochures and RSVP services that insist on an account all want an email address. Give them a free temporary inbox from CleanTempMail instead: no sign-up, and everything is deleted after three days. Keep your own address for replies you need to hold on to.

### Check a decorations shop before you pay

Found lanterns or card stock on a site you have never heard of? WebTraceCheck can look up when its domain was registered and test its security headers, or open the shop in a disposable cloud browser that is wiped when you finish.

## Questions

**Can I save the invitation as a PDF?**

Yes. Press Print or save as PDF and choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF on Windows) as the printer. The file is made by your browser, so you can email it or take it to a print shop.

**Why are there two or four invitations on a page?**

A 5 × 7 in card, a half sheet and a quarter sheet are all smaller than the paper, so the sheet holds as many as fit. Cut along the crop marks or dashed lines; a paper trimmer gives the straightest edges.

**Will the colours look the same on paper?**

Close, but not identical: screens glow while paper reflects light, so prints usually look a little darker. Printing one test sheet on plain paper shows you before you use card stock.
